Firefighters beware!

While the fire department is used to going into scary situations, are they prepared for the fright they may face here at SERVPRO!

Remember, that while it is the time to be decorative sometimes those decorations can be more harmful than anything. When you are hanging Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorations ensure to leave a clear path from the front of your home to the front entrance of your home. This will help in case of a fire or other emergency situation. 

You also want to ensure that you are not causing any fire hazards. Make sure that all of your lights are working accordingly and are fit for the outlets they are plugged into. 

In addition to lighting you want to ensure any garlands or wreaths are not coming into direct contact with electrical ports of any sort. The dry garland and wreaths can cause a fire to ignite and grow within seconds of ignition.
